All applications must include a detailed list of items, costs per item and an explanation of how the funds will enhance the thesis. Invoices or other documentation supporting the cost estimate should be uploaded with the grant request. Incomplete grant applications will not be considered.

Application Timelines for 2026–2027
Beginning fall 2026, we will award thesis grants on a rolling basis. Please take the timelines below into consideration when planning your thesis project.
- Fall application period: August 17 – November 6
- Spring application period: January 11 – March 5
- Award notifications: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Please allow up to two weeks from the date of submission to receive a funding decision.
- When to apply: Students should apply during the same academic year in which they plan to use the grant funds. For summer research, apply during the preceding academic year (for example, apply during the 2026–2027 academic year for summer 2027 funding).
