Pre-Health Opportunities

The Honors College strives to meet the needs of our students pursuing careers in the healthcare field by providing resources and support to make students career-ready. This includes access to experts across a variety of healthcare fields, support in developing strong post-graduate application materials and obtaining internships and shadowing opportunities.

Honors pre-health students will have access to tailored resources and services throughout their academic journeys.  Regardless of your participation in a specific program, major or career trajectory, we strive to provide all students with the following:

  • Healthcare focused service opportunities
  • Access to pre-health events and workshops
  • Opportunties for community building

We also have specific, application-based pathways for continued support.

Current Pathways

H2GMD

An opportunity for Honors students to secure early admission to USC’s School of Medicine-Greenville.

Pre-Health Fellowship

An exclusive opportunity for second-year Honors students who plan to pursue careers in healthcare. 

Smart Start Nursing Pathway

A partnership with USC’s College of Nursing for first-year Honors students.
