Student writer:

The South Carolina Honors College is seeking a part-time student writer (6-8 hours per week). Directly reporting to the director of communications, this role’s primary responsibilities include interviewing students, faculty and alumni to develop and write national fellowships award announcements, profile spotlights, feature stories and short-form web content. The student writer might need to attend special events and activities outside of regular office hours to gather and write follow-up stories. Experience with AP style preferred. Job location: Honors Residence Hall

Student social media assistant:

The South Carolina Honors College is seeking a part-time student social media assistant (6-8 hours per week). Reporting to the SCHC communications coordinator, this role’s primary responsibilities include assisting with planning, creating and implementing the social media marketing of the Honors College. The student might need to attend special events and activities outside of regular office hours to gather and create content. Job location: Honors Residence Hall
