Undergraduate Scholarships

One of the biggest concerns facing university students and their families is financing their education. To help offset the cost of attending USC, the Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing offers more than 100 scholarships for deserving students.

Each year, the Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to incoming and current students. These scholarships may total up to $1,000 per year for up to four years, and they can supplement state and university-level scholarships. Here's some good news – students don't have to fill out many forms to apply for scholarships. By completing one general scholarship application, the college will consider the student for all merit scholarships for which the student is eligible, with the exception of a few scholarships requiring separate application.

Incoming Freshmen

Incoming freshman are considered for scholarships based upon merit indicators including high school GPA and SAT/ACT scores. Scholarship decisions are generally made by the beginning of May for Fall awards.

Applications for Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing merit scholarships for the  2025-2026 academic year will be available by December 22 and are due March 15. The college's Scholarship Committee expects to notify applicants by email of scholarship offers for next Fall by April 15.

Current and Transfer Students

For current and transfer students, preference is given to students who have demonstrated excellence in college level coursework.  Scholarship decisions are generally made by the beginning of July for Fall awards.

The application for MCEC merit scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year will be available by March 15, 2025 and is due June 1. The MCEC Scholarship Committee expects to notify applicants by email of scholarship offers for next Fall by July 1.
