School of Journalism and Mass Communications
We teach communication in all its forms — from enduring, time-tested techniques to the limitless frontiers of digital media. Our programs span the visual and the textual, the informative and the persuasive, preparing undergraduate and graduate students alike to excel as thoughtful, adaptable communicators in a rapidly changing world.
New Home for New Media
We were founded in 1923, making us one of the oldest communications schools in the country. We’re proud of that and of our brand new, state-of-the-art building in the heart of campus.
