Hind Ashraf Hosny earned her bachelor’s degree and completed her master's courses
in English Literature from the University of Alexandria, Egypt. She has also studied
filmmaking in a one-year program in the Jesuit Film School in Alexandria. From 2023-2024,
she was the Fulbright Language Teaching Assistant for Arabic in Kenyon College, Ohio.
She is now a PhD student in the Comparative Literature program focusing on Arabic
and English literature. Her research interests include Modern Egyptian Literature,
Egyptian Cinema, and Women and Gender Studies.
